No change this week. Zero. Not a gain or a loss. I am still exactly at 188.6 pounds.
I actually stayed for the meeting tonight. That’s the first time in a few weeks. (My son has practice on meeting nights and, lately, I just run in to get weighed and then take him to practice.)
The topic tonight was triggers. Urges versus cravings, etc. I brought up the issue of instant stress situations where you cannot go for a run, knit, or do whatever substitute thing they were suggesting instead of turning to food. The woman sitting in front of me said “I just remind myself that I cannot control what’s causing the stress. But, I can always control what I put in my mouth.”
I have to remember that one and work at it.
