When I woke up on Friday morning, my left knee was throbbing. Actually, it was the throbbing that woke me up. And, my right knee felt stiff. So, I took Friday off – from running.
I would have liked to have gotten back out there over the weekend. But, Saturday and Sunday were wall-to-wall baseball stuff. Literally, on Saturday, we were doing baseball stuff from 10 AM until 6 PM, and, on Sunday, it was baseball from 2 PM to 8 PM.
So, it was important to get back out there today. After breakfast, I went for a 5K run. Nice day out – and I worked up a sweat. I actually felt strong running today. And, I did the 3.1 miles in 28:34 – running all the way.
I now have 575.2 miles to go on my goal.
