Workout – 10/13/14

I really wanted to get out there today since I was not able to run over the past three days (due to family commitments).  So, after breakfast, I went for a 5K run.

I took my “harder” route again.

The first 1.3 miles felt real easy.  Then it got a little harder about a half-mile later.  Yet, I caught my pace and had some steam left for the end.  In total, I ran the 3.1 miles in 26 minutes and 31 seconds.

At the end, when I stopped, I felt like I was going to puke – seriously.  Not sure if that’s a good thing or not?

In any event, getting out there and running the whole thing is good.  I have a race next weekend.  Next goal is to run my “hardest” route, running all the way, three times this week before the race.  If I can get that done, I will be very confident heading into the weekend.
