At the end of August, I weighed 184 pounds. Three months later, I now weigh 185.6 pounds. And, to be totally candid, I am surprised that it’s not more..considering how poorly I have been eating the last couple of months.
In any event, I am now drawing the line. I know what I did to reach this place and I know what I need to do to get back to where I need to be…and I want to lose 10 pounds over the next 5 weeks. Come year end, I want to weigh 175 pounds. That’s a decent year-end number for me, of late.
I know…it’s crazy to try and lose two pounds a week for five weeks in a row…period. And, it’s more than insane to try and do it during the year-end holidays. But, I am determined to give it my best shot.
It will require really watching what I eat, making great food choices, using portion control, tracking what I eat, being accountable, monitoring the scale, and exercising more often. But, these are things that I know how to do…and I have done them in the past…and it’s just that I got away from them (over the last 10 months or so).
I know that my ideal weight should be around 172 to 173 pounds. And, I am way over that now at 185.6 pounds.
But, it stops now.
