Week 3, Day 4, The 180-Minute Plan

Last night was supposed to be a gym night.  But, I had something to do with my son after work.

So, I figured that I would do a 5K run this morning and then hit the gym tonight to try and catch up.

Let’s hope the gym later goes better than my run at 7:30 AM today.

The conditions were nasty: 75° F with a RealFeel® of 89° F. But, it was sticky: Humidity at 94% and a Dew Point of 73 °F.

Around half-way through my route, I went into a massive sweat and just stopped running. That’s terrible – and about a mile sooner than where I have been breaking down lately.

I did the alternating walk/run thing from there and had a total time of 29 minutes and 23 seconds for the 5K route. That’s so embarrassing…humidity or no humidity.

In any event, that’s 29 minutes for this morning and it leaves me 123 minutes to go for the week.
