I went for a 4.25 mile run this morning. It’s the first time that I’ve ever run that far without stopping. I did it in 37 minutes and 5 seconds. Not bad for a 49-year old guy who, at this point exactly one year ago, had never run – period – for any distance in his entire life. (Thank you C25K!)
Per my Forerunner 205, my average speed on this run was 6.9 MPH. And, when I do my 5K runs, it’s usually around 7.1 MPH. So, I’m pretty satisfied with that pace.
