What a bust. Today, per the plan, was to be a “yoga” day.
But, I have a Little League practice to manage tomorrow, directly after work. So, I thought I would swap today and tomorrow.
However, it started raining on the way home from work today. And, when I got home, after dinner, even though it looked like the rain might be providing a window to run, I caved. I decided to lay down for 2 minutes and before I knew it, I was out for a half-hour. Zombie-time.
It’s the result of long-ass commutes to work, super-stress during the day, and off-the-charts bad-ass rag weed hay fever. I can’t beat it.
And, in the end, today was a nada day.
So, tomorrow, I’m going to do some yoga before work. And, hopefully, after the Little League practice – albeit around 8 PM – I’ll try and get a run in…assuming it doesn’t rain again. (Everyday, for the next week, has rain in the forecast.)
Now, Friday will be another challenge. I have plans directly following work that will run until 11 pm or later. So, the only chance I have to get to the gym will be super-early, before work. Can I do it? All I can do is plan and try…
